How the UVC technology works
Also known as ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI), this revolutionary technology uses ultraviolet (UV) light to eliminate or inactivate microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and molds. These UV lights have a particular wavelength range known as UVC (typically between 200 and 280 nanometers), which is especially effective at eradicating the genetic material of microorganisms, preventing them from reproducing and causing infections.
Application
Ink Curing
UV curing is a process that uses UV light to dry or harden coatings, inks, adhesives, and other materials. UV curing is faster, more energy-efficient, and more environmentally friendly than conventional methods.
Water Sterilization
UV water sterilization is a method that uses UV light to kill microorganisms in water. UV light damages the DNA of bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and other pathogens, preventing them from reproducing and causing infections.
Air Sterilization
UV air sterilization is a technique that uses UV light to disinfect the air in indoor environments. UV light can destroy airborne microbes such as mold spores, dust mites, bacteria, and viruses.
NDT (Non-destructive testing)/ Inspection
UV NDT or inspection is a method that uses UV light to detect flaws or defects in materials or products without damaging them. UV light can reveal cracks, leaks, corrosion, porosity, contamination, and other irregularities that are invisible to the naked eye.
Non Thermal pasteurization of Milk/ Coconut Water
Non-thermal pasteurization is a process that uses UV light to pasteurize liquid foods such as milk or coconut water without heating them. UV light can inactivate harmful microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria in liquid foods while preserving their flavor, color, nutrition, and shelf life.
Food Processing
UV food processing is a technique that uses UV light to sanitize food products or surfaces that come in contact with food. UV light can eliminate bacteria, molds, yeasts, and other contaminants that can cause food spoilage or foodborne illnesses.
Surface Sterilization
UV surface sterilization is a method that uses UV light to disinfect surfaces that may harbor germs or pathogens. UV light can kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi on surfaces such as countertops, floors, walls, furniture, and equipment.
Photocatalysis
Photocatalysis is a process that uses UV light to activate a catalyst that can degrade organic pollutants or produce hydrogen from water. Photocatalysis can be used for environmental remediation, water purification, air purification, and energy production.
